ELITE TRAINING

BlueStreak’s Elite Training is designed to introduce athletes to a collegiate level training environment where they will learn their school lifts while being supervised by our expert trainers. BlueStreak Sports Training prides itself in teaching our athletes proper weight lifting techniques and running mechanics on the one of a kind Super Speed Treadmills. The Elite Training Programs guarantee results for any athlete looking to take their game to the highest potential.

4TH QUARTER ELITE PROGRAM

BlueStreak's 4th Quarter Elite Program is no joke. This is one of our most demanding group training programs we have to offer.  Our protocols are designed to introduce athletes to a college training environment where they can learn their school lifts while being supervised by our expert trainers.  We pride ourselves in teaching the athletes proper weight lifting techniques and proper running mechanics on our state of the art, one of a kind Super Speed Treadmills.  This program guarantees results for any field athlete looking to take their game to the highest potential.

Program Breakdown:
Phase 1: May 30th - July 7th
Phase 2: July 10th - August 18th
All sessions are 90 min long and are available 4 days a week. 
LIMITED SPOTS ARE AVAILABLE.

Training involves an evaluation which will test the athlete's overall ability to help us learn how to improve them as an individual.  Speed technique, strength training, explosiveness, agility and conditioning are all components we focus on throughout the entire program. There is no other program which can prepare you better for your college experience.

APEX HOCKEY PROGRAM

APEX is an intense training program for professional, collegiate, junior, and high school hockey players. Our program focus is to maximize our player’s potential through speed, strength, balance, and coordination training on and off the ice. APEX training takes place at BlueStreak Sports Training Headquarters and BlueStreak Chelsea Piers.

Program Breakdown:
June 12th- September 1st
All sessions are 90 min long and are available 4 days a week. 
LIMITED SPOTS ARE AVAILABLE.

Weekly training involves a rotation between Hockey Treadmill training, Hockey-Specific strength training, plyometrics, agility, and hip mobility and stretching. APEX Hockey training program is designed to turn you into an elite player.

COLLEGE ACCELERATION PROGRAM

Our Acceleration program has grown up! We now offer male and female collegiate athletes and graduating seniors (17+ years old) the perfect training program to help prepare them for their upcoming college seasons Don't be left out!

Program Breakdown:
June 12th - August 17th
8am-9:30am at BlueStreak HQ
5pm-6:30pm at BlueStreak CPCT
All sessions are 90 min long, Monday through Thursday.

This program will focus on speed and strength development, explosive footwork and injury prevention to prepare you to dominate your conditioning tests and your competition. We are not only the biggest training facility in CT, we are the best!

YOUTH PROGRAMS

BlueStreak Youth Training program is a semi-private training program for athletes between the ages of 5 to 9 years old. Sessions are one hour long and 6:1 athlete to trainer ratio. The Junior Acceleration program safely provides an introduction to the BlueStreak Methodology, which is ideal for young athletes eager for experiences beyond youth leagues. Not sure? Our adult private training sessions specialize in helping you reach your fitness goals. Meet with our experienced trainers for your first evaluation to customize your training program to get real results. PRIVATE TRAINING

Group training not your scene? Our private training specializes in getting results. We have the most experienced trainers you will find and a personalized training program you won't find anywhere else. What's holding you back from bettering yourself today. Our private training is by appointment only Monday through Sunday and runs 60-90 minutes in length. Training packages of 1,5, 10,20, or 40 sessions are available. Want to train with a friend? 2 on 1 and 3 on 1 personal training packages available.

Approximately 3.5 million children and adolescents ages 14 and younger get hurt annually playing sports or participating in recreational activities. Most organized sports-related injuries (62%) occur during practice. More than 775,000 children participating in sports activities are injured each year and 1 in 4 injuries are considered serious. Our training focus is to ensure athlete is prepared for the demands of athletic competition, minimize risk of re-injury, educate athlete, core strength and flexibility, neuromuscular and balance training, and strength, speed and agility (injury prevention).

NUTRITION

In order to effectively lost weight or changed your body composition, it is necessary to address both exercise and nutrition. Your path to obtain ultimate sports performance or simply live a health lifestyle revolves around eating, exercise, and education. 

EATING - Glen will calculate exactly how many calories you will need to consume on a daily basis to help you safely reach your goals. A customized menu will be created to fit your lifestyle. 

EXERCISE - Glen will explain how increased daily activity, different types of intensities of exercise will help you maximize your daily caloric intake. You will receive an individualized activity program. 

EDUCATION - Weekly consultations will supply you with the knowledge support and motivation needed to succeed. Your individualized plan is based on the scientific equation used to permanently change your body and improve your help.

SPORTS MASSAGE

Sports Massage Therapy is an ideal way to treat injuries, increase blood flow, break up muscle adhesions and realign muscle fibers. Massage therapy may be utilized by all individuals who participate in any athletic and/or exercise program to help improve conditioning and main peak performance. Benefits of sports massage therapy include increase tissue permeability, delayed onset muscle soreness prevention, stress and pain reduction, improve tissue elasticity, opens micro-circulation, relaxation, and anxiety reduction.
