Super Sophs Sparq Scores and Rankings
How Do You Rate?
The SPARQ Lacrosse Rating is an index of athleticism calculated from the results on a battery of four field tests of athletic performance: vert ical jump, combined with body weight to calculate peak leg power; 20-yard dash, for linear acceleration; 30-yard shuttle, for agility; and rotat ional Power Bal l, for upper-body power.
Each Rating provides a window into the athlete’s capacities to meet the physical demands of ‘the fastest game on two feet’. The SPARQ Rating is an objective tool that should be used to inform an athlete’s goal setting for training and to measure the progress of his physical development.
