BlueStreak Stamford - December 5th, 2009
Come in and help us celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We are hosting a blood drive for the American Red Cross. All who donate will receive $50 in BlueStreak Bucks. You will also get your name put in a drawing for a FREE Nintendo Wii. Please call to reserve your spot for the blood drive. We will be serving pizza, snacks, and drinks.
BlueStreak to host Rivals.com Five Star Showdown

BlueStreak Sports Training in Stamford, CT has been selected to host a Rivals.com Five Star Showdown. The combine is by invitation and attendees include many of the top prospects in the class of 2010 in the states of New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and other parts of New England. The combine will be a valuable means for high school football players to gain exposure to college scouts as these states are not heavily recruited.
BlueStreak and Rivals.com have already secured commitments from top prospects like LB Khairi Fortt, RB Silas Redd, TE Blake Barker, DB James McCaffrey, DB Tebucky Jones, DB Christon Gill and many more that have D-1A offers.
The players in attendance will be tested in the 40-yard dash, vertical jump and 20-yard shuttle as well as go through positional drills and participate in one-on-ones against other top prospects. They will also receive instruction from local high school coaches. Rivals.com talent evaluators will be on hand and the event will be covered extensively and exclusively by Rivals.com.
The combine will take place Saturday May 9th from 10am – 5pm. The combine testing will be at BlueStreak’s state of the art facility as well as 1 vs. 1 and position specific drills on the turf field at Stamford High School. Many local high school football coaches have generously donated their time to ensure a productive and successful day for all athletes involved.
Leading Specialists to Speak on the Increasing Number and Prevention of Sports-related Emergency Room Visits

Performance Physical Therapy in conjunction with Bluestreak Sports Training will be presenting an educational talk on February 5th at the Bluestreak facility in Stamford concerning athletes, injuries they sustain, and ways to prevent future occurrences. The Sports Injury Prevention seminar will take place at 6:30pm.
