David has been training professional, collegiate, high school, and youth athletes for the past 12 years, 10 of them with BlueStreak. He graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelors in Exercise Science and a Masters Degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition. While at Sacred Heart, he competed on the Track and Field team and was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Football and Men's Lacrosse teams.


David holds his CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist), USAW L1 (USA Weightlifting Level 1 Performance Coach), and is Level 3 certified through Athletic Republic.


David specializes in speed development, strength training, Olympic lifts, and plyometrics for all sports.

Bill Hayden

Bill Hayden grew up in Northeast Pennsylvania where he lettered in Football and Track at Delaware Valley High School. After becoming an All-Region selection on defensive line his senior year he decided to continue his education and football career at Sacred Heart University.

While finishing his junior year Bill tore his ACL and broke his knee cap and had to sit out his true senior year to red-shirt and rehabilitate his knee. During this time was when he found his love for athletic training, injury prevention, and overcoming injuries to compete again.

After completion of his 5th year of football and school, Bill began his career at BlueStreak Sports Training. Four years later Bill is the Football Manager and dedicated to continue educating athletes on how to prevent injuries and how to train to get to the next level.

Katie Mazin

Katie has been training professional, collegiate, high school, and youth athletes for the past 7 years, 6 of them with BlueStreak. She graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Master’s Degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition. While at Sacred Heart Katie competed on the Division 1 Field Hockey team.

 

Katie is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) as well as a registered yoga teacher (RYT 200). She trains the body and the mind and believes that if an athlete can learn to control their breath during movements, their potential is unlimited.


Katie specializes in functional strength training, corrective exercises and mobility, and speed development.

Erik Maul

Education: Bachelors in Health and Human Kinetics from Ohio Wesleyan University, Masters in Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy From Manhattanville College, Masters in  Public Health and Health Education Programs from Northern Illinois University
Certifications: Athletic Republic 1 and 2, Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Certified CT High School Football Coach
Specialties: Power, explosion, first step quickness, strength and conditioning

Jason Clement

Vice President
 
Jason has been training professional, collegiate, high school, and youth athletes for the past 12 years, all of them with BlueStreak. Jason graduated from Sacred Heart University with a B.S. in Exercise Science. While at Sacred Heart, he competed on the football team and was one of 3 freshmen to travel and play their first year.


Jason is a certified Master Trainer through Athletic Republic and is TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Fitness Certified with a focus on helping golfers and other rotational athletes stay healthy while developing power and balance where its needed most. Throughout his time at BlueStreak Jason has work to develop a handful of NFL athletes and countless All-Americans in sports that range from lacrosse, to squash to rugby.


Jason specializes in speed development, explosive training and rotational power for all sports and has an extensive background in football, lacrosse and golf.

Bobby Pauls

Bobby has been training professional, collegiate and amateur athletes at BlueStreak for 6 years. A native of Harrison, NY, he attended New England College where he recived a B.A. in Kinesiology and played Ice Hockey and Lacrosse. After college, Bobby played for the Danbury Mad-Hatters of the Eastern Professional Hockey League.

After his playing career ended, Bobby began coaching youth hockey and is a USA Hockey Level 4 Certified coach. He has coach all ages group from Mites to Juniors.

At BlueStreak, Bobby specializes in hockey and lacrosse skill training, power skating, strength and conditioning, and plyometrics.
