Katie Mazin

Headquarters Facility Director
 
Katie has been training professional, collegiate, high school, and youth athletes for the past 7 years, 6 of them with BlueStreak. She graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Master’s Degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition. While at Sacred Heart Katie competed on the Division 1 Field Hockey team.

 

Katie is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) as well as a registered yoga teacher (RYT 200). She trains the body and the mind and believes that if an athlete can learn to control their breath during movements, their potential is unlimited.


Katie specializes in functional strength training, corrective exercises and mobility, and speed development.

Desmond Hinds

Desmond has been training professional, collegiate, high school, and youth athletes for the past 7 years with BlueStreak. He graduated from Pace University with a B.S. in Business Management and an M.S. in Sports Management from Manhattanville College. Desmond was a 3-year starter on the football team at Iona College before finishing his career at Pace University.  Desmond also received invitations to several NFL and CFL tryouts after his collegiate career.


Desmond specializes in speed development, agility, footwork, change of direction, first step quickness, strength training, hand-eye coordination and plyometrics for all sports. He also works with football players on skill development.


Some notable athletes Desmond has trained include Jamie Loeb (Tennis Pro: world ranking 132), Jordan Lucas (Miami Dolphins), John Seter (University of Georgia), the National Chinese Women’s Hockey team, the CT Whale (WNHL), and Jhonny Arteaga (NY Redbulls).

Dave Robbins

House of Sports Facility Director
 
David has been training professional, collegiate, high school, and youth athletes for the past 12 years, 10 of them with BlueStreak. He graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelors in Exercise Science and a Masters Degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition. While at Sacred Heart, he competed on the Track and Field team and was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Football and Men's Lacrosse teams.


David holds his CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist), USAW L1 (USA Weightlifting Level 1 Performance Coach), and is Level 3 certified through Athletic Republic.


David specializes in speed development, strength training, Olympic lifts, and plyometrics for all sports.

Ali Knott

Ali has been training professional, collegiate, high school, and youth athletes for the past 9 years, 8 of them with BlueStreak. He graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a degree in Exercise Science. Ali also is a licensed massage therapist through the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. After college, he competed as an amateur boxer, competing in several events, including the New York Golden Gloves.


Ali also serves as the head Strength and Conditioning coach for Westhill High School for all teams and student-athletes.  He specializes in speed development, strength training, and plyometrics for all sports. He also specializes in general health, fitness, and conditioning for all ages and abilities.

Thomas Day

TJ has been training professional, collegiate, high school, and youth athletes for the past 2 years with BlueStreak. He graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a B.S. in Health Promotion and Exercise Science. While at Western Connecticut, he competed on the the football team as a two-year starter.

TJ is Athletic Republic Level 1 certified. He specializes all aspects of football training along with speed, agility, and quickness development, strength training, and plyometrics for all sports.

Jason Clement

Vice President
 
Jason has been training professional, collegiate, high school, and youth athletes for the past 12 years, all of them with BlueStreak. Jason graduated from Sacred Heart University with a B.S. in Exercise Science. While at Sacred Heart, he competed on the football team and was one of 3 freshmen to travel and play their first year.


Jason is a certified Master Trainer through Athletic Republic and is TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Fitness Certified with a focus on helping golfers and other rotational athletes stay healthy while developing power and balance where its needed most. Throughout his time at BlueStreak Jason has work to develop a handful of NFL athletes and countless All-Americans in sports that range from lacrosse, to squash to rugby.


Jason specializes in speed development, explosive training and rotational power for all sports and has an extensive background in football, lacrosse and golf.
